Circular economy
The 4 Rs explained
Remanufacturing is a technical process that extends a product’s life while preserving its performance as fully as possible. The circular economy rests on four pillars:
- 1Reduce
- 2Reuse
- 3Repair
- 4Recycle
This virtuous cycle avoids wasting resources by reusing materials sustainably. It brings both environmental and economic benefits: a circular-economy part costs on average 30% less than a new one.
